Thanks a bunch, Sheri Gilson!

Happy Monday everyone!
It's the start of a wonderful new week,
and we have a special announcement over at The Pink Elephant blog.
Our fearless Design Team leader (and longtime friend of mine),
Sheri Gilson,
is stepping down after years and years of such hard work and dedication.

This week we are taking the time to say THANK YOU
to this beautiful, talented, selfless, and amazing lady
for all the work that she has done.
Seriously, if you've never popped by her blog,
you are truly missing out on tons of eye candy
(not to mention the dreamiest craft room).

As a "thank you" card, I colored up an SSSC image from The Greeting Farm,
as I know Sheri is a huge fan of Anyas and die cuts:

Isn't she a cutie? This is So Hip (SSSC No. 016) from the SSSC (I paired her with the TGF Gate Die, first cutting it out in black,
and then again in white as a top layer.
I sponged clouds on a white cardstock, put it all together,
then used the negative part of an oval die cut cardstock as a frame.

SherBear, if you're reading this, THANK YOU for all that you've done!
And this little card will be on its way to you very soon
(you know how punctual I am - lol!!!).

Click here to hop over to TPE's blog to see the details of the challenge,
we'd love for you to celebrate this amazing crafter!

Have a super day everyone, thank you for coming by to see me.

TPE Challenge #305

Happy beautiful Monday, everyone!
I'm celebrating a brand new, shiny week,
and one that has finally cooled off to a low *90s instead of *105.
Regardless of temperatures, I LOVE Summer and its relaxed vibe,
sleeping in, lazy days, family time, and of course swimming.
I was born and raised in Hawaii, so water is my home. ;)
Today is a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant:

I fell in love with Beach Pretty from Krista's Saturated Canary shop
and had to color her up for today's post:

She's such a doll!
I love her chic, mommy-friendly swimsuit, and her flowing hair.
I used a fun technique on her swimsuit that a friend did on her card -
instead of paper piecing a clothing item, simply color it in.
With a 0.3 copic black pen, I dotted 4-5 dots (depending on the location),
then added a red one in the center to create a flower.
Super easy and it gives the swimsuit a bit of dimension.

Be sure to enter in on the ANYTHING GOES challenge over at TPE this week!
Click here to hop to the blog and see all the designers' inspiration.
{It's an adorable lineup today!!}
This is also where you'll link up your work. :)

Thank you for swinging by to see me today.
I hope you have wonderful plans for the week ahead, have a great Monday, everyone!

TPE Challenge #303

Hello again and welcome back to TPE's newest challenge!
This week we have a Theme challenge for you:

Awww, we have to make sure we acknowledge the important guys in our lives, right? :)
Here is my card that I made for our youngest to give to her dad:

This is Amelia from The Greeting Farm's OA Valentine Set.
After coloring her in using the no border technique,
I took a white gel pen and wrote "dad" in the heart.
I love how she is so easy to customize beyond February 14th!

Come on over and join in on the fun - you can see the beautiful samples
here on The Pink Elephant's blog!

This is also where you'll link up your work for us all to see. :)

Thank you for coming by to see me! :)

Preview Day #2: Fashionista in the house!

 Happy Friday everyone!
As if it couldn't have been any better, The Greeting Farm has a new release
waiting to make its way to your home this Monday.
Yesterday we showcased Honey, today we introduce Fashionista:

Fashionista is SSSC No.13 in the Super Secret Stamp Club collection.
Want to know more about how you can get advanced copies of these cuties?

I used the no border technique once again on her,
stamping her in Angel Pink {Memento} and then used my copics to color her up.
The sentiment is from the Anya & Ian set Picture Perfect,
then paired her with 12x12 patterned paper from Love Notes {We R Memory Keepers}
that I found for $6.99 at Tuesday Morning.

Come on over to the blog to see what Claudette and Rosie did with this cutie!
Mark your calendars - she is available for purchase this Monday from TGF's store.
Have a beautiful Friday, everyone!
Thank you for coming by to see me!

Hey Honey!

Happy almost Friday everyone!
It's a special month over at The Greeting Farm -
a special release of the cuuuutest pair ever.
Today we are featuring Honey (SSSC #12):

Adorable, right? Her little face is so sweet!
If you are part of the SSSC then you received her back in March.
But not to worry - she will be available on Monday for $12 in TGF's store!

I colored Honey up with copics, using the no-border technique.
This line is really fun to use this technique with, because their features are so expressive.
Come see what the other Farmers have done with her -
Claudette and Rosie made some gorgeous cards with Honey.

There's one more tomorrow, so come back and see me, okay?
Have a beautiful day everyone, thank you for coming by to see me!

TPE Challenge #302

Happy beautiful Monday, everyone!
It's time for a fun new challenge over at The Pink Elephant.
This week we have a photo inspiration for you:

Look at this adorable bedroom:

I adore all these colors and fun patterns, it's so layered and fresh!
Now I admit, it was a crazy week of graduations and promotions,
so I went very literal with my card:

heehee! I must say, it was so much harder than I thought it would be!
First I went through my scraps and found similar patterns,
then layered them like the bedroom pillows.
Trying to cut them to fit each corner was tricky. lol!

Come on and join in on the fun!
Click here to see what Ella's girls have designed around this challenge,
the girls made some amazing samples for you to see!

Have a beautiful day everyone,
thank you for coming by to see me!

Vintage Swim

Happy Hump Day everyone!
I hope this post finds you well and zooming through the week.
I know for many of us, summer is right around the corner - woohoo!
And what better way to celebrate it than with Vintage Swim:

This beauty is available as part of a bunch of digis called Another Bunch of Digis. ;)
Krista is so funny and talented. teehee!
Vintage Swim debuted as part of the Complete Cardmaking Magazine (UK) and was quite the hit!
I think she's absolutely beautiful, that swim cap and bathing suit are so classy.
I colored her up with copics,
then paired her with a rub on sentiment from Pebbles {Hobby Lobby}
as well as papers from Pink Paislee {Hello Sunshine}.
I added coordinating primas to keep it simple and a bling for her earring.

Treat yourself to this beautiful bundle of images!
Click >here< to hop to Krista's store
where you'll see all the new bundles and specials just calling your name.
Have a wonderful day everyone, thank you for popping in to see me!

TPE Challenge #301

Happy amazing Monday everyone!
It's time for a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant
and we're positive you're going to need a few of these in your stash:

Masculine Birthday Cards

Oh this is such a hard one for me.
I have three boys, and I still struggle with whether or not a card is too girly. ;)
Here is my card using the adorable Baseball Oliver:

Isn't he adorable? Oliver is from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps
(who, by the way is now a happy mommy and on hiatus)
and is perfect for a boy's card.
I stamped him on kraft cardstock, then used neutral copics to color him up.
The sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles (Hobby Lobby),
and the twine and baseball mitt doodad is from my stash.

Come on over and join the fun!
There's the cutest display of masculine cards here on the blog,
all courtesy of the talented design team.
This is also where you'll link up your work for us to oooh and ahhh over. :)
Have a wonderful day everyone, thank you for coming by!
